Forecast Discussion: The weather pattern has changed dramatically, and it now appears that we are moving into a more La Niña-like weather pattern with ridging along the West Coast. This will keep the Southwest drier-than-normal for at least the next week. A trough will dive down into the Southwest from the north on Wednesday – Thurdsay, bringing some high clouds, northerly breezes and slight cooling. However, I do not expect any precipitation this week. C. James -- MetMail is an unofficial weather discussion and forecast transmitted once per week via email.
